SYNOPSIS
Follow third-generation Hot Rodder, Hayden Larson, as he embarks upon a West Coast automotive adventure. To discover the historic past of automobiles, their influence throughout the American West, the forgotten legends of the drag strip and local town heroes, and defining how it has shaped the identity of the Grand American Expanse. Going town to town, state to state, and engaging with the folks who experienced this history firsthand. You can expect a road trip filled with adventures, candid encounters, laughs to be had, and a never-before-discovered incite into this deeply American institution.
VISION
Sun&Petrol is slated to be a five-part mini-series that takes place along the Western Coast of the United States. Each episode centers around a new State from the last as the progression of the cruise takes the audience from Washington, through Oregon, into Northern California, and further into Southern California. Exploring both iconic and culturally important locations throughout each unique State. The content of the various episodes revolves around the automotive culture of that specific State, unscripted encounters, intimate interviews from local car aficionados and industry legends alike, and the exploration of what 'Sun and Petrol' means to the American Automotive enthusiast. Paragon Studios wishes to tell the stories and myths that are gradually fading away from the collective American consciousness. The mission of Sun&Petrol is to eternalize these extraordinarily unbounded stories and exceptional culture for the generations to come.
